To know the music of SOOHAN (Stephen Suchan) is to be flooded with a rush of the vague and familiar: nostalgia meets unique and unknowable, as he deftly weaves worldwide influences into dance floor and festival-ready settings. To the unfamiliar, SOOHAN is the key holder to a catalog which dives into and celebrates what all too often lies in the periphery.
Drawing from the traditional and popular music of countless cultures, SOOHAN’s signature interpretation of dance music ignores borders, favoring a shared community dance floor experience that enthusiastically exposes audiences to new musical territory with every performance.
Starting as a grassroots project in Baltimore, SOOHAN has taken off as an identity in global dance floor fusion, effortlessly combining diverse rarities with familiar 808s and bass lines. Since his initial east coast success, SOOHAN finds himself touring the US and Canada on a consistent and constant basis, with festival appearances at the likes of Envision, Shambhala, Lightning In A Bottle, Symbiosis, Burning Man, and numerous others.
With some seven albums, 20 million streams, and a widely celebrated DJ mix series with Global Bass Radio, SOOHAN has hit his stride and shows no signs of slowing.
SOOHAN’s most ardent fans will have even more to look forward to in 2026, as a steady output of remix compilations, DJ mixes, and original material looms on the horizon. SeanTilldawn is a Hawaiʻi-based DJ, MC, and community builder whose sound is rooted in bass culture, island rhythms, and the raw energy of outdoor, underground dance floors. Drawing influence from Hawaiʻi’s reggae, electronic, and live-music scenes, his sets blend of Golbal Bass, Grime, Dubstep, reggae bass, downtempo, psy-influenced bass, and livetronica, guided less by genre and more by vibe.
Originally cutting his teeth as a downtempo and trip-hop DJ in the early ’90s, Sean’s return to live performance was reignited through Burning Man, where he served as a camp lead, stage manager, and DJ for Camp Tetrion (2011–2013). That experience reshaped his approach—favoring immersive, high-energy sets designed to move bodies and build connection rather than chase trends.
Known for reading rooms and lifting crowds, SeanTilldawn often incorporates live vocals and MC work, creating dance floors that feel intentional, participatory, sweaty, and alive. His sound moves fluidly—from deep dark dub, global bass, to Chill Ambient global dub, G-House, Bass House, Psytrance, DNB, melodic house, minimal tech, and psychedelic edges—always anchored in rhythm and intention.
Sean has performed at festivals, clubs, and underground events across Hawaiʻi, including Love Festival, Source Festival, Firejam, Collidascope, and numerous pop-up and outdoor gatherings. He has provided direct support for national and international artists such as DJ Swamp, ill.Gates, SOOHAN, Rhythmstar, David Starfire, an-ten-nae, mochipet, and christian and justin martin, while also supporting and promoting local scenes through recurring events and collaborations like Family Wednesday, Firejam Thursdays, antibodi, and temple of boom.
Beyond the decks, Sean is deeply invested in artist development and community infrastructure. He is the founder of Inov8seaN Studios in Kailua, Hawaiʻi—a creative space offering music production, DJ education, recording, consulting, and artist support.
At the core, SeanTilldawn is a vibe rider—focused on what the moment needs, what the dance floor asks for, and how music can bring people together. Expect bass-forward selections, unexpected turns, and a room that doesn’t stop moving!
